Abstract

Belief is the main foundation on which all religious actions and spiritual conditions are built. And if the foundation of the building is invalid, corrupt, and weak, then what will be the credibility of the building built on it? Faith is very important for all religious actions and spiritual conditions. Faith is like the soul of a body and all other actions are like its organs and limbs of it. Faith is like a root and a trunk and actions are like branches. So how can the branches of a tree whose root is dry remain green? How can it bear fruit? Apparently, no matter how much a person prays, is a pilgrim, is generous, or a pious person, until his faith is correct, the above actions will not give him any benefit, because when the root is dry, how can the branches be fruitful and productive? The religion of Islam and all its commands are based on correct beliefs. If a man's beliefs are not correct, even if he does good deeds day and night and performs good deeds, he will not receive the reward that has been promised for these deeds, because his beliefs are weak. In the same way, if a person has a belief against the basic beliefs of Islam, then he will not be called a Muslim, even if he appears to be a Muslim and performs Islamic deeds along with Muslims. In this article, the basic beliefs of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam along with their social impact are examined.
