The significance of labour in the light of life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).Work is the permanent basis of Allah's law of life. The production in agriculture and industry and the base of trade and business focus on work. The services of doctors ,lawyers and teachers are the instances of mental work. The essence of religion Islam is well illustrated in the Holy Quran and the acts of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).In order to persuade the Muslims the Tahajud prayer is mentioned and there is a decree of work and with honest dealings after the Jummah prayer is given. Work is the base of human civilization. Without doing any work no person and no society can get the essentials of life. The study of the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) not only describes the significance and greatness of work but also mentions the disadvantages of idleness and laziness. Interest ,gambling, theft ,tactics, embezzlement, lying and all the sources of income and wealth without any work a declared illegal. Trade ,agriculture , gardening and industry are encouraged and regarded compulsory in the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).Begging ,getting eatables without work ,getting money at the cost of religion and consciousness are forbidden severely. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) looked after the goats just for a few kirates. He adopted trade as profession in his youth. He not only worked but also persuaded others to work .He always respected the workers. At the present age the nations which work with the sense of responsibility and sobriety, always lead and rule the world.
