Abstract

Hazrat Maulana Allama Dr Sher Ali Shah Madni (May God have mercy on him (was endowed with many brilliant qualities and it can be said that Allah Almighty made him an exemplary and all-round personality in the field of knowledge. All of his writings are the result of deep research and advanced research. He was gifted with the scientific and researchful nature of the mind. That is why he is above prejudice. Later, he wrote on many topics that were commonly misunderstood by the people, and in this way, he removed many misunderstandings and confusion of them by transcribing many useful scholarly works in Urdu and Arabic. Dr. Madani (may Allah have mercy on him) was highly esteemed by contemporary scholars for his high morals and scholarly abilities. From time to time, on various occasions, he seems to have openly expressed them. By the grace of God, he was at the highest level of knowledge and was a learned man in many disciplines of theology. He has written many books in which his "Tafseer Soratul Kahaf" has a unique status in the field of a single surah Tafseer in Arabic. In fact, this book has its own style of writing in terms of references and comprehensiveness. That is why this book is equally useful not only for scholars and students but also for general readers.
