Abstract

Mohi-ud-Din Ahmad alias Abu Al-Kalam 1305 AH was born in 1888 in Mecca. His father MaulviKhair-ud-Din Qadri was a Sufi saint of the Naqshbandi dynasty. His mother was from Makkah. He was eight years old when he came to India with his family in 1895 and stayed here. He received his early education from his father. The memory was of anger. He was a mujtahid in Islamic studies, played a leading role in the independence movement of India, was a blockbuster, and wrote many books. He suffered a stroke on February 19, 1958, and died on February 22, 1958.  There are three objections to Maulana Azad's commentary on the spokesman of the Qur'an: (1) Maulana has left the commentary of verse “AyaqNaabad” of Surah Al-Fatiha to please non-Muslims. (2) The second objection has been raised that according to Maulana Azad, belief in Tawheed alone is sufficient for salvation, it is not necessary to believe in the belief in Prophethood. (3) The third objection has been raised that Maulana Azad is a believer in "unity of religions". That is, it is enough to believe in any heavenly religion for salvation in the Hereafter. MaulanaAbulKalam Azad was simultaneously a historian, narrator, writer and commentator of the Qur'an. Azad's translation of the Qur'an "Translator of the Qur'an" is a highly scholarly masterpiece due to its eloquence, politeness and literary flair and it is very easy to use and the objections raised against it are not based on fact but political. Opponents have political tactics.
