Abstract

Islam is a complete code of conduct in which, while it provides comprehensive guidance on the mutual relations of believers, it also describes attitudes towards non-Muslims with justice.  The Qur'an and Hadith provide guidance on all kinds of family, social, societal and economic. Relations of Muslims with non-Muslims.  This is because Islam is a universal religion.  It is not addressed to any one class but to all humanity.  Islam commands its adherents to be tolerant in dealing with non-Muslims.  Islam holds that every human being is honorable as a human being, regardless of his religion or race.  According to Islam, the world is a testing ground for human beings.  God has sent every human being into the world with the power to accept or reject God's message. In view of these reasons, in the light of "Tafsir-e-Maraghi", the Shari'ah status of friendship, love and relations with non-Muslims is examined.
