Violations of human rights were common in pre-Islamic times, the strong and the weak were strangled, As soon as Islam came, it taught man the protection of rights. According to Islam, there are five basic human rights:
- Protection of life,
- Protection of goods,
- Protection of honor and dignity,
- Wage protection,
- Protection of religion and belief.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took practical steps along with instructions to ensure their safety in his life. After the demise of the Prophet (peace be upon him), his successors, the Rightly Guided Caliphs, made their protection their primary goal during their caliphate. A study of history reveals that no human rights were violated during his caliphate (30 years). This is not just a claim, but the enemies of Islam have openly acknowledged it.
