Abstract

Allama Muhammad Iqbal was great poet and philosopher of the Muslims of Sub-continent. He had a profound and a great political insight. Iqbal tried to aware the Muslims of India through his poetry. He expressed his political thoughts not only in his poetry but also in his book the Reconstruction of Religious Thoughts in Islam. He also explained his political philosophy through his lecture like Islamic culture, Muslim Community and clearly advised the Muslims of India to follow the political theory of Milat. In his presidential address of Allahabad on 30th December 1930, he presented the Idea of a separate state Pakistan for the Muslim’s of India. This research Paper is an attempt to explore his political thoughts and this paper highlights Iqbal as a political philosopher through his poetry.
